The “Pub to Pub” comp is purely all about FUN and maybe even setting a personal best either in XC or having fun at the pub afterward.

Date: 14-17th February

Entry Fee: $60 and includes scoring with a handicap, a drink voucher for the bar when you arrive at goal and small day prizes with a cash jackpot and the fame of winning the very first Pub to Pub.

Tasks: There will be a main challenging task via turn-points with goal at a different local pub each day in the Corryong region.

Scoring: Thanks to Geoff Wong we will be using his Airscore program and pilots will upload tracklogs for their days flight directly in the evening.

Daily briefing: Briefing/Daily de brief will be at the Corryong Hotel at 9am. Task briefing will be on Mt Elliot launch at 11am with the launch window opening straight after.

Car pooling and retrieves: There are no retrieves or up hill transport provided. If you need a ride or a meeting place you can car pool at the official bombout at Red Cutting Lane. Meet here daily at about 9.45am.

Mt Elliot Access: Its best to use the 2wd track (Called Fishers Track) to go both up and down the hill. Access is on the east side of the hill with a right turn at the Ozone windsock. Make sure you leave gates as you find them.

Mentor flying: For any pilots wanting to fly in a small group with an “Eagle” Advanced pilot and you being the “fledgling” typically a restricted to intermediate pilot please send an email to fly@paraglide.com.au with your name and fledgling in the subject heading on your email.

Coaching: Will be available with HGFA approved Instructors. Clinic cost includes entry fee, daily retrieves and up hill transport. Call Peter to book your place on 0412 486 114
